COVID forced all of us to operate differently, and for me, that change led me to learn one of my toughest acquisition lessons.

With travel restrictions in place, access to facilities was limited. I had to lean more heavily on trusted people for diligence than I normally would have.

The Human Rights Campaign’s new playbook is a reminder of why this work matters to me.

Attacks on trans people are devastating, and they don’t happen in isolation. Anti-trans movements impact families, workplaces, and young people who deserve safety and dignity.

Looking at manufacturing in 2026, I think the biggest differentiator will really be leadership.

You can chase as many tools & trends as you want, but they can't adjust leadership. Leaders need to pursue clear goals, invest in data quality, and support teams along with clarity and purpose.

In 1979, thousands marched in D.C. in a bold declaration that #LGBTQ+ people would not be silenced. Their courage still shapes our work for equality and inclusion today. When I see the seas of faces in these photos, I remember that the #LGBTQCommunity spends into the past as much as the future.

Advice I’d give my younger self:

Move faster by trusting yourself sooner.
Don’t confuse promised support with real support. Learn the difference early.
And yes… buy Bitcoin. (Kidding! ...mostly 😂)

Experience, judgment, and confidence compound. The faster you start, the more you earn.

While 2025 offered hope with improved #ParentageLaws for #LGBTQ+ individuals, the journey isn't over.

We still need federal legislation to create a unified standard across all states.

Let's celebrate the wins and redouble our efforts for comprehensive #LGBTQ+Family recognition!
LGBTQ Parentage Progress in 2025 and What Lies Ahead - Mombian

Families don’t all look the same, but they never really have.

What’s changing these days is the visibility and openness around that reality. Supporting modern families means recognizing that flexibility, empathy, and inclusion are essential to how people live and work today.

Rising to the expectations of great leadership means always focusing on what matters most.

Protect your thinking time, align priorities, and lead with purpose to guide your team confidently through complexity.

Sustainability conversations in manufacturing often get framed as cost versus conscience.

The most successful companies are asking how we design smarter processes, reduce waste, & build resilience into systems that already need to perform at scale.

That's sustainability is embedded into strategy.

As the year comes to a close, I’ve been thinking about fundamentals.

Progress comes from doing the hard and often unglamorous work of building for what’s ahead.

Across manufacturing, energy, and technology, we’re standing at real inflection points.

When my husband and I began our journey to build a family, we were surprised by how fragmented, confusing, and isolating the process could be, especially for LGBTQ+ parents.

Every day, I see how much stress and uncertainty we can remove simply by giving people a place where they feel understood.

Manufacturing firms that treat AI as a novelty are already starting to feel the effects of falling behind. Those who see it as a core driver of operational excellence are pulling ahead quickly.

Without that alignment, even the best tech can underdeliver.
