Back in 1995 I was searching for a copy of the last novel in the 'Orion' series by Ben Bova.
Had it in search lists with book search agencies (yes, they were a thing)
In San Francisco, first morning, walked out of my hotel, took a left, and a bookstore within 50 feet had it in the f*cking window.
