And why are we hearing about this in newspapers?

Should we hear it from Vinay Prasad directly?

We deserve transparency and honesty from our medical establishment.
FDA’s top vaccine official Vinay Prasad rejected broad uses of 2 COVID vaccines, citing unknown risks or injuries despite staff experts' safety assurances.

FDA’s vaccine staff signed off on approving the Novavax vaccine & wks later on Moderna's next-gen. mRNA Covid shot for anyone 12 & up. 🛟 Medsky

Now nearly 50 million people have received health care through the ACA. I’ve always said that the ACA is like a starter house: it was a big step forward, but still just a first step. There’s no question that we still have work to do to make sure health care is a right and not a privilege in America.

Congratulations to John Shelley ( #VUMC_MSTP and @vumcdbmi.bsky.social ) on the publication of his paper looking at clinical uses of polygenic predictors for height in evaluating idiopathic short stature. (Published 2.5 hours before his PhD defense--well done!). 🧪🧬🖥️ #PGS

A polygenic score for height identifies an unmeasured genetic predisposition among pediatric patients with idiopathic short stature - Genome Medicine
Background A subset of children with short stature do not have an identified clinical explanation after extensive diagnostic evaluation. We hypothesized that a polygenic score for height (PGSheight) c...
