Lawyer who likes anime and pro wrestling and who has successfully convinced himself that running is enjoyable
That would be awesome

But it really feels like the original draft of the last movie was changed pretty late in the game so that certain characters did not die

I've seen plenty of people pointing out that A&M had played the bottom half of the SEC all season long. The first time they play one of the better teams in the SEC, they lose by 10

Looking forward to the next few weeks of Texas fans whining about how they belong in the playoff

I'm not sure he wants to be setting this precedent considering how he doesn't seem to know what it is he's signed half the time he's asked

1) People were saying this about the Hunger Games like a decade ago; why's he bringing it up now?
2) A similar premise does not a rip off make
3) By his own logic, Tarantino has ripped off way more stuff than the Hunger Games

I wouldn't be surprised to see GOP members decide to not run for reelection. They're getting yelled at (rightfully so) in townhalls. It doesn't matter how loyal they've been to Trump; MTG has shown he'll turn on you at the drop of one of his stupid hats. It's not worth the hassle

They are so desperate to convince us that AI is useful; anything to keep the bubble from popping

People voted for Trump because they were unhappy about inflation and the economy. Incumbents around the world lost in elections last year for the same reason. And now that Trump has failed to deliver on any of his promises, people are turning against him. There's no great mystery here.

There's zero reason to upgrade phones or similar devices every year so long as they keep working, especially since the new models don't really offer anything vastly superior to older models

Conservatism as a political philosophy began as a defense of monarchies. Monarchies may have faded away, but the ideal that elites can do whatever they want to the lower classes hasn't. Modern conservatives have simply changed who the monarch they defend is

Also, the people who say crap like this always, always care about the economic part. When there's a choice between helping people or propping up big business, they side with business every time

MAHA, am I right?

Best case scenario, they have unrealistic ideas about how much authors get paid when a book is published. Worst (good faith) case, they come from a place of privilege and just assume that artists do too and thus can afford to let people pirate their work

Assuming this person was acting in good faith (big assumption) it's wild that they'd apparently think working class people deserve a living wage but find it outrageous that artists demand to be compensated for their work

Reality managed to sneak in a little bit after the elections earlier this month, which explains him harping on affordability, but it seems like they managed to seal the cracks and he's back in his safe little bubble that allows the viziers to do what they want
