I'm so sorry to hear that about your stepdad. My heart breaks for you all. That's my worst fear. My dad's 62 and in great shape, so I'm hoping that will be to his benefit, but he did catch Covid 2 or 3 times during the pandemic, which worries me. My sis and his gf are with him now. I'm going soon.

I feel you. My dad's been complaining excessively about having to give up coffee. I had to jump him repeatedly to lay off of the stuff! Lol

That's what I'm saying. My sister and I have been texting each other all day quite mad about it. To this very moment he's sitting at home stressing and knowing it's there with no idea when he's going to be worked on. It makes no sense to me at all. Not to mention making him travel so far for it.

Thankful for your sister! My dad already has 7 stents after a previous heart attack a few years ago. Now he has to have open-heart surgery now for bad blockage. The man is in great shape. His ticker just hates him. I have no idea what to expect. I'm too scared to even look it up.

I'm a sucker for long socks that are themed. Today, I wore a pair that are designed like footballs. For my bday my mom sent me a pair that are No. 2 pencils. The soles say "Be Quiet" and the other says "I'm writing." When the kids come into my office I hold my feet up in the air and they giggle.

Thank you. I spent my entire life there and moved here 5 years ago to be closer to my kiddos after my ex-wife brought them back to her hometown. This is one of the few times I wish like hell I was back home right now.
