Lastly, a little tidbit. Episode 59 actually became the first chapter of The Value of Nobility, ythe next book of the Alagariel series. The final version stops at a (edited) episode 58.

It's kind of fitting that this has turned out to happen on the same day as the book appearing on amazon.

I always thought that was what hobgoblins are for.

It's a way to give readers the same insight that might be available to characters in the setting. You can give context, without giving anything away. Also the characters that have written these things in setting can be famous in their own right, it creates... a skeleton for the world, I suppose.

Could be Iain M. Banks too, the Culture has this solution as well.
