I spoke too soon. I got 7 more notifications today, this time only with links, no pictures, but before I could report them, it looks like Bluesky took them down. The accounts that I previously blocked have disappeared from my "blocked" list, so I guess Bluesky has taken those accounts down. Victory!

Yesterday, I reported and blocked over a dozen fake accounts that had shown up in one day in my notifications as new followers. It seems to have worked!
