OK here's my big ten post, forty page, catch up mega-thread with alt text for my work in progress #Comix #WebComics #MiniComics
One. A person with black hair in a black shirt and a cord necklace is driving late at night. Two. the driver from page one spots dirt Ike headlights in her rear view mirror then Gunnr the woods hag pulls up beside her points a gun and shouts "pull over". Three. The unnamed driver pulls over Gunnr the woods hag walks up to her car. Gunnr: Where is it? WHERE IS IT? This it? Huh? Driver: Yes. Gunnr: Now get out of the car. Four. Gunnr points a gun a the horrified driver and tells her "Get. Out. Of. The. Fucking. Car. Right. Now." Then the necklace Gunnr pulled off of the driver starts to glow and Gunnr's heart starts to beat loud and fast and she doubles over and pants and gasps for air as the other two hags look shocked while the driver fills with determination to live and speeds off into the dark.

All of Alvin's storylines so far are him trying to stop some sort coming conflict or new weapon.
The Hags are, in theory, involved in asymmetric cold war against the rest of humanity, but mostly they just rob gas stations and party with cryptids.

Hayden: I, uh, I just sort of wish he was part of the scene I'm in and lived out where I live and that we had known each other a young guys coming up, or even had been buddies in school, or that he had been one of my siblings, my twin, and we had been born and gone through life together. Jesus fucking Christ what the Hell is wrong with me? Forty five Dr. Schalman: Do you think there's something wrong with how you feel? Hayden: If somebody said that to me I'd want an electric fence between us. Dr. Schalman: OK, are you in contact with this man? Hayden: No...not yet anyway, I've got the tour as an excuse not to right now. Dr. Schalman: You seem relieved. Hayden: It's...I'm just...it's just weird right now Dr. Schalman: Alright, we're running low on time so I'm going to recommend that you pay attention to how you're feeling about the people in your life when you notice yourself ruminating about this. Hayden: OK, yeah, alright. Dr. Schalman: and you can schedule another session to discuss that ..and I'll see you then OK? Hayden: Yeah, oK see'ya. A character from a vision or dream in my W.I.P changed clothing in a way that may or may not have involved physical transformation, like liquid assuming the shape of its container, they chose to go back to being someone dressed for the weather.

Comic page. Doctor Wode continues to dream of the necklace changing hands in reverse to a Amazigh merchant, to a man in a toga and seashell crown, to a dark figure in shadow. Then Adam wakes up in chapter four and snakes don't talk and his family worships "the Lord" and they are not the only people in the world. So Adam's dream turned into a nightmare because he brought his own fears and worries into it, as people do. Theres a panel of a classic Sistine Chapel Jehovah placing a little clay Adam into a playset like walled Garden of Eden, and another of Adam as a wholly caveman in a loincloth waking with a fright next to Eve under a full moon.

Some characters have dogs. The bigfoots keep black, grizzly, or polar bears as pets. Chewie preys on farm animals, being a chupacabra and all. Normal woodland animals like deer, possum, and snakes play a big role in Candle Jar, and of course there's the owl in my W.I.P. #<3OCWorld #WorldBuilding

There's human ones, English being the only one I've been confident enough to write in so far, Alvin et al text in obscure alphabets but it's still English. The bigfoots have their own language.

Most of my normie OCs don't technically know if they have something on the big intersex list or not, or if they do they dont talk about it much. It's probably better representation for none of the Hags to be.The chupacabras are sexually monomorphic like gibbons or lemurs. #QueerPrompts
Comic page. Six of the characters from my W.I.P. I know full well not all six have health insurance. Alane: I haven't seen you in a long time, you got your hair cut. Here come sit down a minute before we go Derrick: How was your drive over? Kallan: Not too bad, I went the back way. Derrick: You want something to drink? Kallan: Oh, Uh, yeah, thank you. What do you have? Meanwhile on the bus Andre: nah, it's not real, I think it's just Twisters. Hayden: What's Twisters? Andre: Uhh...it's like Mexican food but also hamburgers Chewie brings his mate and cub some dead chickens. We don't know what sex any of them are, they all look the same including thd little chin beard. Two comic panels of Avery Hix, a minor one scene character from Signal Tower, playing some kind of medieval guitar thing. Not the only gender non-conforming character but the only one to officially go by either she or they pronouns. This person has kind of a bustline in this shirt but no canonical assigned sex at birth or intersex status. Here's a crowd scene, I try to include a mix of looks and body types. That doesn't mean I think nonbinary people have to look like the person with the undercut holding the little boy, or the person with long dark hair and a covid mask talking to him and it definitely doesn't mean I think intersex people do. I just think implied human diversity balances out some of the genderless crytids and spirits in this comic. Page Thirty five Kallan and Alane leave the restaurant Kallan: should we just leave the car here? Alane: Yeah I'll be fine. OK it's around the corner here. They come upon an outdoor stage with an LED wall, a window shaped screen, a flat traffic light shaped screen, Christmas lights, and rectangular flat screens all arranged around an odd stand under glass with a little pole and a hexagonal backing displaying a little round gem. A small crowd is gathered. " guidelines for photosensitive viewers also" All the lights except the center stand turn on. So while people are talking about the associations of Germanic symbols I'm just going to post these three Anglo rune alphabets here. Two are fictional, the first are "Hobbit runes" and the other is Cirth both of these are from JRR Tolkien who fought on the right side of WWII #Runes #Futhorc #Tolkien
Inside cover of the Hobbit with a map of Smaugs mountain and two modern English language bits written in Tolkiens first constructed alphabet based fairly directly of off Anglo Saxon futhorc runes. A stone inscription from Sydney harbor in Cirth, another constructed alphabet from Tolkien where the letters look runic but it actually bears little to no resemblance to any historical alphabet Anglo saxon runes recorded in a Medieval Swiss document Codex Sangallensis labeled Anguliscum The ABCD Family Tree by Starkey Comics, I'm afraid I don't have it in me to transcribe this whole chart but the starting point is Egyptian Hieroglyphs, then Proto Sinaitic, then Phoenecian, then Greek, then Etruscan, then Norse Runes.
