Overall, I really liked Pokemon Scarlet! It doesn't beat Sun as my favorite title, but it's right up there with Legends Arceus for my potential number 2. This formula WORKS.
(Hopefully Game Freak refines it and doesn't abandon it)

I'm approaching the final act of Pokemon Scarlet, and I wanna talk about the three main storylines.
Path of Legends was great, with the Titan Pokemon and the main story really harkening back to Gen 7 (my personal favorite). Arven is no Lillie, but his bond with Mabosstiff is one I will remember.

So DKC Returns HD received an awesome update last night, adding:
Dixie Kong
Turbo time attack
Faster load times
Fixing the multiplayer bounce bug
And GameShare
That last one is neat, but what sucks to me is that for some reason, GameShare in this game is local only.
No online DKC Returns. Damn.

But it's so sad that my experience is not the same as anyone who played this anytime near launch, or those who can only play it on Switch 1.

I unpinned this from my profile awhile ago for a few reasons but after the prodding from multiple persistent bastards that I call my friends, I'm putting this back up.
Looking at this lineup, unless a 2026 Direct changes things, (which, it will) I might not be getting many first party Nintendo games next year.
I'm VERY interested in Splatoon Raiders.

Besides that...that's about it.

So I got the chance to try out a Switch 2 Pro Controller.
And...wow. Don't get me wrong, I love my Switch 1 controller, but the softer sticks and better grip make the new one feel like a generational upgrade, one I only see after holding one in my hand.
Not to mention the new GL and GR buttons.
