I live in a tiny, lcol (full of poors), town in Indiana and entrees are $20-30 at medium nice restaurants (ok maybe high teens to high 20s). $30-40 absolutely tracks for what nice restaurants are like in an actual city where property costs and staff wages are higher than here.
