Basically back to the pre-election BlueSky numbers in total users, but power users seem to be posting here more. I assume this means this site is destined to eventually become something like political blogs after social media, a niche for the hardcore.

Whole thing is here. There are also more liberals than conservatives among owned even now, at 31% to 29%.

For the love of everything holy, Dems need to find a way to approach this that isn’t uniformly hostile. https://www.paradigm.xyz/2025/07/paradigm-policy-market-mapping-exercise-spring-2025

- Trump won the 20% of users who said it was extremely important to their vote 48-34; Harris did much better with those who said it wasn’t important.
- 1/3 of owners had a quarter or more of their net worth in crypto.
-71% strongly or somewhat agree the wealthy should pay more in taxes.

I know this website is not interested in crypto, but I’m still going to tempt fate and flag a few points from my new survey of 4000 users.
- 10% got a crypto account before a bank/venmo/Paypal account
- 42% of owners said crypto was very or extremely important to their 2024 vote

There’s some evidence that best way to keep wage gains above inflation in 21-22 was to switch jobs, somewhat more than usual. https://www.businessinsider.com/switching-jobs-used-to-mean-higher-pay-raises-not-anymore-2025-3#:~:text=Switching%20jobs%20was%20once%20a,from%207.3%25%20in%20early%202023.

Yeah I mean, crypto ownership is lowest among those who have the most access to the existing financial system by dint of being:
- older
- whiter
- more likely to have a post grad degree
- stable W-2 job

I mean most people want regulations when I’ve seen and done polling and about 1/2 of voters think crypto will be a major part of the economy.

The basic problem is there are single issue pro crypto voters (a few percent of electorate) but no single issue anti crypto voters.

NYT Siena is the best public poll, but it still is susceptible to non response bias; we saw that in the final pre election poll as a reminder.

Trump probably isn’t at 42%, sadly.
