Great to see the work of Open Theatre & @barrowfull.bsky.social showcased at the Engaging Communities in Arts and
Culture conference. The added value to a much under resourced sector fills a gap in provision but crucially the creative lives of the learning disabled community in Barrow. #LetsEngage25

Lots of love for the cast of the @reimagineredditch.bsky.social co-produced Community Makers pantomime today. Some lovely touches to the production showcasing memories of Redditch across generations.

youtu.be/Lmw0_br6yGs The Ashington Group's work continues to inspire others whilst reminding us of the past - well worth a trip to Woodhorn Museum to try and spot the six paintings brought to life through film and dance.

Useful to quantify what we already know. More useful to ensure that funding is increased for organisations targeting those least likely to engage in creativity (not those in the picture!), but most likely to generate the greatest individual and societal gains.
Consuming arts and culture is good for health and wellbeing, research finds

En route to Basildon to discuss quality and excellence in the context of Creative People and Places. Still think it’s about ‘what it does to you’ @thinkingpractice.bsky.social?

These findings won't be limited to the music industry - there is a massive requirement to invest in accessibility awareness, conformity, and action across the creative industries. The changes would support not only disabled artists but the sector as a whole.
