I’ve sort of accepted that we are in wait and see mode. We did a few things to shore up our position and protect our kids starting earlier this year. Will it be enough? I don’t know, but we are prepared to be reactive when the time comes or the need arrives. I think it’s the best we can do rn.

I chose to block. Primarily because I want to be in community with members of marginalized and threatened communities whose voices I can amplify to people who are not a danger to them. I don’t think there is redemption for MAGA other than that which they find for themselves.
