Has anyone actually seen this "design system"? They keep saying design system, but all I see are random one-off websites.

Annoying thing is I'm out here sweating KBs and DX while also respecting USWDS

Thanks for this explanation!

One additional question, when tsdown is fully integrated into Vite lib mode, does it make sense to swap to Vite? Or would I keep using tsdown directly?

I'm sure this has been asked many times, (github.com/rolldown/tsd...) but as someone who's relatively new to publishing libraries, is there a good resource for understanding when I'd reach for Rolldown vs tsdown vs Vite (Library Mode)?

Is there a decision tree I should be using to decide?

Was able to pick up the course through my company's professional development program. I've been a big fan for a while, genuinely so excited to dive in!

Just get 1 more thing done on your to-do list and I'm sure you'll get to it!

I'd recommend looking into @tanstack.com, particularly TanStack Query.

It simplifies complex state management and data fetching patterns. Another great benefit is that many parts are composable, makes it easy to adapt to your specific needs.

I wouldn't build a project w/o it

Fair enough. Thank you for your service and best of luck going forward!

I assume this means that maintenance is functionally "on hold" for the foreseeable future?

I know its likely not a priority of the current admin, but I also wasn't sure what that meant for any existing contracts/budgets. Or if that has all collapsed or run out at this point

Apologies if this isnt the best thread, but I've noticed that USWDS does appear be a solo effort (which i deeply appreciate!) and many of the long time Bixal maintainers have moved on. Any ideas what is to become of the USWDS?

I have seen progress on USWDS Elements, which seems hopeful
