I’ve also been told urban/suburban rabbits may not be safe to eat based on how many people put chemicals on their lawns.

I will say that roadkill is a bit different, from a butchering/food safety perspective, as the impact can damage the meat or make things more complicated and the timing is critical, air temp, etc.

For sure an underutilized food source though!
