yeah postgres is good for apps that needs to scale up

sqlite is fine for things like self-hostable things, locally run programs (e.g. desktop apps), and more

also im using a sqlite for a webapp lmao

Most of my tools i write either uses PostgreSQL, SQLite, MongoDB or just json if im lazy

but yeah i do not like MariaDB, use postgres if you are running a big instance, either with sequelize or if you want *✨ proper type checking ✨* drizzle orm works wonders too

hmm actually should i move my red dwarf instance from nekoweb to wisp, i don't think dedicating a slot for it on my paid slots is a good idea for the long term (i want to host more indie webby stuff on that)
