I got back to my office after the vote last night and recorded this. There's no way to sugarcoat what happened. And my fear is that Trump gets stronger, not weaker, because of this acquiescence. I'm angry - like you. But I choose to keep fighting.

Unacceptable. There are 189,000 people in my district who will be paying 50–300% more for the same, and in many cases worse, healthcare.

I won’t do that to the people I represent. I’m a NO on this “deal.”

Catelin Drey (37) from Sioux City won District 1 election by 55% to Christopher Prosch’s 44% in deep red #Iowa where Trump won by 13%.

The second state seat to be flipped this year & which has now broken the Republican senate supermajority (33-17).

Tonight he’s the mayor of Omaha, and he’s winning by a whole bunch of votes.

The federal government plans to eliminate services for LGBTQ youth who call 988, the national suicide and crisis hotline, according to a Health and Human Services budget draft leaked last week.
