You can also just become numb to compliments. Like with VRCDN I've been doing it for so long that compliments just don't hit like they use to.

Yes I still love working on it and I love that people enjoy it, but I guess you can get use to anything.

I guess it depends on how much you enjoy the journey to figuring something out. If you're enjoying bashing your head against a wall until you figure something out (like I do) then it won't ever feel like work

What's simple to you may not be simple to others. Sometimes it's difficult to see what we actually do as we're so use to just doing it.

The repo currently only contains the code to do the Unity part, you could easily make it work with CI/CD

My code won't fix this. For avatars I'd recommend Pumpkin's Avatar Tools as that will copy most things from 1 avatar to another.

I'm not sure about baking, but we run a Windoze 11 VM without a GPU and it handles building just fine. (Also yes I run Hyper-V in my home lab don't judge me!)

With this config (NVMe raid for the storage) I can build and upload our world in about 2 mins. Our world is light though

What I would recommend:

We use Git with LFS
Use Creator Companion to resolve the packages (my code won't handle this)
Then create either a webhook or a Discord bot or something that handles running the Unity process.

I would recommend this, yes. We've been using it as I've been working on this and it's been stable.
