Flush the toilet and run the faucets to check the water pressure and how long they take to get hot. Open every single drawer, closet door, and cabinet. Take photos of every scratch, hole, paint chip on day 1, so you can't be blamed for existing wear and tear.

Totally. I've seen several interviews with the RDR2 cast talking about how people discredit the amount of work they do despite the fact that every scene is fully acted out, in-person.
