Hearing familiar stories on the One54 podcast about how a lot of them were somewhat resentful of their origins growing up in American society. I had the same reservations. I felt a sense of belonging and shunned my culture until adulthood. I love being American, but disdain for my origins sucked.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is a slow burn. I recommend waiting for all episodes. Also I appreciate "realism", but most don't care to watch people actually shitting and pissing. There's a way to show the viewer without resorting to dumbing down your show to a scat flick. It looks juvenile.

It's ok to take a break from the atrocities of the world and allow yourself to regain your focus. Read a book, watch a movie or TV show, enjoy a game, have a leisurely hike, go shopping or just take time off from social media.
