In a public meeting yesterday, I proposed for the first time that we consider dropping the term "missio" (a focus on God's sending) in favour of "prothesis" (a focus on God's purpose). Therefore from missiology to prothesiology. Transcript here: jaymatenga.com/pdfs/Matenga...

Another step closer to the World Cup for the All Blacks - and a win celebrated in yet another country. In 2011 I was in Hong Kong for the nail biter win against France. In 2015 I was here in Chiang Mai when we beat South Africa. I’ll be between trips for the final - hope I don’t jinx it! 😅
