Unlike Cascadian cities south of the border, Vancouver suburbs have been comparatively booming since 2020. Surrey passed Portland in 2023 (down since 2020), Richmond passed Boise and Spokane in 2023 (flat since 2020), and Burnaby will pass Anchorage in 2024 (down since 2013).

My favorite reaction in our decidedly not-right-wing DND group chat is these chasing arrows, which may remind you of the better-known retweet symbol but is in fact the RETRUTH button from Truth Social.

Ada County (Boise), ID, now releases a scanned image of every ballot cast in their elections. I think this is bad for voter privacy reasons (folks write their names on their ballots more than you'd think), but it also lets us find the DBZ fans with surgical precision!
