Fuuuuck man, first morning without Millie, my cat. Cat bereavement is different from human in that there's a weird, habitual loss. Every morning for several years I've got up, said good morning to Millie and opened the door for her. The house was EMPTY this morning.

Hang on... can we not use AI to detect AI? 🤔🤔🤔

The ironic thing about Trump's Rob Reiner post is that when he dies, MAGA will be mortally offended by us all celebrating.

Dear Grim Reaper

Could you take out some of the shitty people now? One in particular looks like he'd only need the slightest of prods with your scythe.

Thanks

Saw Count Arthur Strong last night and I will never be able to hear 'Florence Nightingale' again without thinking of 'Florence Rightangle' 😆

A thing that never gets mentioned, particularly with all the hate going around, is how often cis women are bloody thrilled to meet a trans woman. Seriously, the love, support and delight are overwhelming sometimes. Not the narrative the world wants you to hear but... true.
December 15, 2025 at 2:05 AM
I am a trans woman and I'm here to tell you... people expect me to use female spaces and if I tried to go into a male space I would be questioned and challenged. It would make people angry and confused.

'Trump has been criticising the transatlantic alliance...'

JK Rowling : the WHAT-Atlantic alliance????!

UK media :

TRANS ROW PEGGIE HERO MASSIVE VICTORY APPEALS CHANGING ROOM TRANS PERVERTS - INTERVIEW WITH MAYA FORSTATER ON PAGES 3 TO 17

....superflu crisis brings NHS to point of collapse, page 18

I see part of the objection to using a changing room with a trans woman in the Peggie case was about changing in front of a trans woman if you've been menstruating heavily.

1) That assumes all women understand what menstruating heavily is like and are sympathetic.

Moments of history reported like the TERF 'victory' in the Peggie case :

** Huge win for Hitler as he shoots himself in his bunker and proves what a good shot he is **

** Spanish Armada sailors enjoy swim after successfully testing their ship's buoyancy capabilities **
December 10, 2025 at 7:02 PM
You can tell TERFS are the baddies because every time they win a victory the lives of trans people are changed (made worse), but their lives stay the same either way.

The morning after the last trans person is gone will be just another day for them.

There is no campaign to keep men out of women's spaces. There is a campaign to ensure all women look female enough to use them.

People saying 'this image doesn't reflect what really happened'. But it does - he did stand around awkwardly and didn't take charge like, you know, a LEADER. The fact he wandered over there and looked doesn't alter that fact.

Just looked at an advert break on Channel 4 and counted how many non-white faces I saw. There were adverts featuring multiple people, groups, families etc and it worked out to about one non-white face per ad.

Oh wow, I laughed SO MANY TIMES watching this. Charles Hawtrey doing a really different cockney performance, lots of subversive cross dressing and amazing jokes.

'That plaque is where our last Captain fell'

'I'm not surprised, I nearly fell over it myself' 😂

Mate, a fucking load of them don't give a shit about trans people.

The weather in the UK right now is terrible for poetry.

'Though rough winds shake the darling buds of May
And summer's lease hath a quite reasonable date, actually a bit too long if anything...'

This White House fiasco is making me quite grateful for good old British red tape. If someone wanted to paint a corridor in the Houses of Parliament there'd have to be a committee and a ton of paperwork. Certainly no important shit would get demolished at the whim of some stupid orange baboon.

@jonnelledge.bsky.social 'History of the world in 47 Borders' was recommended on The Rest is Entertainment podcast as one of their Christmas recommendations, if you weren't aware.

What's the worst that could happen if Labour backed trans people and migrants and did a load of left wing shit for the next three years? They'd lose the next election?

Sooo... they're looking likely to win it now?

At least they'd have done SOMETHING for SOMEBODY.

I think Cabby may just have gone back to up my top spot! 🤩 A feminist classic about an all female run and staffed cabby business which takes down the male competition with better customer service, better marketing and a more efficient service! 😁
