I was never a Green Day guy, but growing up in the Bay Area I caught them occasionally, and I remember liking them in an acoustic context. Pearl Jam and Lucinda Williams were the only two that did not connect with me. I'd probably feel different about Lucinda now. Oddly I barely remember Wilson.

I had a buddy who got tickets through his job at Yahoo. Same for 2000's Bridge School. The dotcom's were always giving employees weird and cool gifts. I could not have afforded it without the hook up either.

Maybe we should try to address our broken political system by holding the powerful accountable for their actions before we add more punitive measures to the marginalized and disillusioned potential voter.

I do like how quickly many of the ones in my neighborhood have converted to food pantries, and think they serve the community better that way.

And Amtrak does not own the tracks so freight trains take priority. 12 years ago I took a train from California to Nashville and thanks to flooding in another part of the country the train was 41 hours late.
