For starters, the name. While neither are inherently Black names, they do both share respective notoriety as such, with Leroy being identified as a "Black-sounding name" in the 1920's. "Jenkins" was a popular post-War surname for freed slaves and 40% of Jenkins are Black per last US census.

I can't foresee a future where Lor'themar doesn't at least have a Very Bad Day, but I'll be VERY disappointed if he straight up dies.
