This feels a lot like when you know the relationship is over and you’re just waiting for that other person to break-up with you instead of doing it on your own….bc the date tonight could be a good time and you don’t want to reject fun…but we all know it’s a dead end with no chance of true happiness

I remember this. Literally had my bobble head in my dorm room trash can in NYC after reading this and was lucky that I never took my trash out to get it back 🤣🤣🤣

I found out the pitfalls of this with my credit card and seamlessweb and delivery.com in my 20s. Credit score didn’t improve until my 30s. Hope that wasn’t a precursor for our country.

And the scary part of this thinking is you’re playing right into their hands. Read the book Hitlerland. Their goal is to divide all of us across the majority so a small minority can take power. That’s the most Nazi like thing that’s happened over the last decade and you’re feeding right into it

The whole “fire the Dems” nonsense only works if you think the other side is doing the same. Feels opposite though. Where the R ignores bullshit that hurts them to coalesce behind flawed candidates, the L gives them victories bc we boycott whoever doesn’t fit us perfectly. This is why we get smoked

Either that or the opposite - team quits and goes on an epic losing streak to end the season and the pick ends up in the top 12. As much as that would suck over next few weeks as a fan, I can’t see any better result for the long-term keeping the pick and absolutely forcing a restart in the summer

How is this any different than my reply that you wanted to be a dick to me about? Theres a reason Vivek doesn’t want to tank or rebuild as they need as many paying fans in seats as possible. Nothing has changed economically from when he bought the team, built G1 and needs it to pencil $$ wise.

There are no Spurs fans wishing to trade places with Kings fans. The Kings are probably the furthest Team from championship calibre in the League. Sitting right in the lower middle fighting for play-in with no ability to do anything about it given lack of high draft capital and small market

Btw - I was right on Keegan. Hes not that dude as much as you/they want and hoped and ultimately needed him to be. Maybe other guys didn’t have same perceived upside but they had a consistency and weren’t afraid of the moment and would’ve helped win with that Team. I’ll never get off that ledge

Completely agree with you. Which is part of the reason why they aren’t tanking for the rebuild now. I ultimately agree with you that they should, just saying why they won’t.

And by contradictory - go back and look at any interaction - when I suggested they messed up by overrating and not trading Keegan (which more are saying now). Feels like you always want to attack an opinion here - what gives?

Why are you always so contradictory with me? No I don’t think they are gaining fans by chasing the 8 seed. But I think they are happy with any level of post season and push to post season bc they need the tickets/interest. Without that, I think Vivek is deeply in the red w/ the team.
