Honestly my only gripe is that there isn't one central portal instead of applying via individual TOCs but maybe that'll be GBR's first success.

The trick is learning which trains are reliably cancelled and always booking onto those.

Anyway, we're planning to exit in 2027 for different reasons and I would like private tenants to be given access to a scheme which could give them the option and help with having first dibs on buying.

As an amateur I can not think of anything I would rather do less than evict someone for no reason and faff about trying to find a new tenant. Baffling.

We use them to send updates to our allotment because it means people don't have to join a WhatsApp group, share numbers or, wonderfully, be able to share their views. They're perfect for that.

I thought the choice - unless I missed it - not to have people disclose their charity at all, other than Alan at the end, was a good decision.
