(7) Call from Under the House, from Party Crasher Studios. This is a Lovecraft-inspired mystery, part point+click, part puzzler, part exploration. Your detective is kind of inept apparently, so the dialogue is quite funny! Also we're suckers for fun pixel art so this really called to us. 😁

(4) Moving away from horror 😅 we also loved Sticky Date, from Dumplings Incognito who I can't find here on BlueSky 😤

Devs described it as an "anti-date simulator" inspired by personal experience! You play as a restaurant owner, secretly trying to ruin the dates there for... reasons...

One of the most impressive Steam Next Fest demos so far has definitely been Love Eternal. Super short, but will live in my head for a while.

The whole package is there: cool and unique art style, great game mechanic, eerie immersive soundscape. Left me hungry for more!

Recently finished Bahamut and the Waqwaq Tree from Starvania and @sspublishing.bsky.social - a lovely game! Audio was a star of the show, with the deep ocean sounds, the effects, and narrated storytelling. Really nice art style as well. So glad we got to play this one!
