Another good show. Although, absolutely hate the ‘learn to be a big leaguer’ narrative for prospects. This ain’t 1925 and Branch Rickey just plucked these guys from a soy bean field. They have been playing at elite levels since they were 10. They don’t need Alec Burleson to mentor them. #StlCards

It's a little painful in places (and I'm not just talking about The Killers' frontman's vocals). Sincere Dave is always super awkward with him trying to balance schtick with actual emotions. Very Midwestern.

Love the fact the family asked Dave to induct. Perhaps bittersweet, but I could argue that final appearance on the Late Show might have introduced Warren to more new fans in the last days of his life than any album in 30 years.

If I’m reading the announcement correctly, it does appear the league will still play basketball as its primary activity. So that’s something.
