As someone who has rarely slept more than 5-6 hours at night in my adult life, I embrace the Short Sleeper Syndrome diagnosis. I am approaching sixty and have begun to throw in the occasional twenty minute power nap in the afternoon, but still keep an otherwise normal life with SSS in full effect.
