I enjoyed the series, but I will not get excited until I read glowing reviews OR IDEALLY super divisive reviews.

That's just gotta be the increasing scarcity of channels into the core audience though, right? Between channels they control with direct access to normies (their own channels, paid influencers, newscorp-ass scale stuff etc.) they have a lot of normie coverage. It's access to the core that's fading.

Except for the part where my anxiety means I’ll still prepare the property so it looks like no humans live there, only for them to not show up meaning all that anxiety was for naught, AND will act as a multiplier on my next for real inspection.

But also we don't know how much of the blame rests with Southern Cross Austereo pulling disclosure! It's just a huge mess, and at the end of the day we've watched someone's entire reputation being destroyed out loud. It feels gross :(

It's messy. There's catharsis in the I-told-you-so of the old school media crew saying this is how things would go, there's tall poppying, there's some I-would-nevering, and a whole bunch of clutching at pearls (myself included). It's also monstrously hard to make a living wage so get yours I guess?
