Jim Ratcliffe is a prick. I always thought he was.
He has done nothing to suggest that he is not a prick. I loathe Jim Ratcliffe and as a result I find it very hard to get behind his cycling team. He was a prick before he got into cycling. He’s always been a prick. I hope that clears things up.

Politicians ‘don’t live how we live’, voters tell me. Morgan McSweeney's resignation won’t change their minds | John Harris

Alan is 100% correct ... The cat is out of the bag.
I think a lot of politicians & commentators see all this very differently from most of the country. They see it as part of an ongoing story about decision-making, personalities, probity, money etc. For everyone else it’s part of a long series of events: Saville, Huw Edwards, Rotherham & more (1/)

It's time for true accountability.

Those who participated in the appointment of Mandelson - from those who championed him, to those who turned a blind eye, to those who silenced doubts in the name of political convenience - must be held to account.

Labour was wrong to block Andy Burnham from standing in Gorton and Denton. It’s undemocratic and shortsighted.

If this decision isn’t overturned by an emergency meeting of the NEC, polls are now showing that we could come third place in the by-election.

Labour must reverse this decision if it is serious about putting country before party.

We urge the party to reconsider in the interests of taking on Reform and building the strongest possible team in Westminster.

I’ve just signed up to be a CLP organiser for Mainstream … The current hyperfactional leadership of the Labour Party doesn’t represent its members or our base … I’m fed up with shouting at the radio … The time for action is now!!!
🌹We're building power for the democratic socialist vision and values that Labour was founded to champion.

Yesterday, we invited members of Mainstream to join our CLP Organisers Network and Local Groups Network.
