How does Outer Worlds 2 compare to the first one? I am loved the first one, so am considering buying the second.

Well if you were anything like me back then, you'd have gotten a lot of hours out of it, so if you think of it as a per hour time expense, then it was probably a bargain.

Yep, would need the 430mm to match my system, probably would prefer to go Sony as that would match the rest of the gear nicely.

Mine was some sort of in house brand, but was in that same form factor. It had a remote, which literally had 4 buttons on it IIRC.

Yeah, that's what I'd do as well. Join, got the 12, got the 1 a month at full price for ~4 mo or so, then cancelled. Waited ~8 mo, then did it all over again.

What CD player do you have? I have been on the lookout for a decent one to add to my "retro" stereo system for a while now.

Oh, and when I moved to the US in late 1998 it was hard to work out when something was expensive, I so used the price of CDs, since they cost more or less the same relative to lots of other things.
So for some time my first thought was always "How many CDs could I get for that price"

I joined multiple times in the CD era. Mostly paid off, but I do have some CDs that are pretty out there for me personally...
I think I got the 12 for a penny at least 4 times over like 8 or so years.
