Agree. And they're all at it, these ridiculous ad-ons. My understanding though is that performers get a percentage of the ticket price so if these add-ons are absorbed into that price the performers would take a percentage. This way the venue gets 100% of the add-on this increases their margin.

And assuming she took the Takamatsu Ferry (and why would she do this roundabout route?) it would still only require two train changes whereas she talks of four. I'm asking myself whether she actually did this trip?

Sadly I don't have any. Ones that are true Christmas movies such as White Christmas have never appealed. Ones that have cemented themselves into the Christmas TV schedule like the Wizard of Oz are great movies but don't persuade me to turn on the TV.

They did have that capability in the 1940s and the 14th was based at a number of places scattered across southern China and so the airforce had the capability to control the skies. And of course the Pacific Fleet had control of the seas.

I'm not convinced that the way she describes the journey is accurate. She talks for example, about making four train changes from Tokyo, when it is two; and then a hour long ferry ride when it is 20 minutes from Uno.

I found this to be the poorest written piece about Naoshima that I've read.
