Yeah but then Collins (I suppose) would just reply that, if you look at how disputes about eg experimenter regress situations are resolved is no different between orthodox and heterodox sciences, so descriptively there's no basis for distinguishing them: people act the same way in both cases

I don't see why Collins would not count as philosopher of science, given his use of, and responses to, Wittgenstein, Kuhn, etc.

There's the work of Harry Collins on experimenters' regress problems, where he relied on historical studies of both gravitational waves and parapsychology to showcase how the regress was overcome in all cases in the same way

We have a similar approach, with max 4 master students per supervisor (+ max 4 bachelors). If they don't come to the meetings or don't do the work, they can still submit, but then the supervisor communicates beforehand to the other assessors that they can't vouch for the work.
