Lovely - where are these taken?

Fundamentally, we're in agreement: all the existing data sources on rents in Minneapolis and Minnesota have one or more problems, and we need a rental registry so we have better data.

Maybe erased isn't the right word, rather, it isn't reflected in the data. I'm fairly sure none of my renters ever contacted HOME Line, that doesn't mean my building doesn't exist, but it's not in the data.

Thanks for the detailed answer! HousingLink includes buildings of all sizes, but it is limited to listing data, which shows statistically higher rents than existing tenants pay, as turnover is when landlords are most likely to rent significantly raise rents.

I agree there's no silent majority of incredibly awesome landlords, and this it erases whatever share of landlords manage relationships and buildings in a way that doesn't require HOME Line help. Those who are mostly good will be underrepresented, and vice versa. Still a very useful data set!

That's bad. How does HOME Line collect rent data? I want to understand relative strengths and weaknesses of different data sources, until we get that rental registry.

We need a state-wide Minnesota rent registry.

On par with even Stone Arch and Sabo.

I'm also impressed by the availability and digitization of cartography in Zürich. Thank you!

The alley probably predated the library by hundreds of years, and the design solution for both pedestrians and library users is elegant. (TBH, Zürich pedestrian design is invariably excellent, usually elegant. Coming from the USA, I'll never get over it.)
