drjeanryan 11h A dear friend of mine currentlv on SNAP benefits reminding me of one complexity going forward. If you're trying to support somebody who's getting SNAP benefits, either give them food, or give them gift cards to buy food. Don't give them an electronic transfer of cash to their accounts because when the system is back up, they will have to explain why they're getting income when they didn't before. Before. And it could be enough to boot them off snap eventually. I hadn't thought about that aspect.
