Juliet and Romeo literally kill themselves at the end of the play (sorry, spoilers). Surely ditching Romeo is the wise choice here, in terms of self-preservation?

There are plenty of people in the world who are disliked and/or controversial but that does not mean they deserve to be dismembered alive. You’d really think this would be obvious…

Intuition really. If something in a sentence just doesn’t quite look right. Obviously this is easier in the language you speak than the language you don’t speak! Tbf I also speak other languages than English and editing it a massive part of my job so maybe I have more of an eye for it.

Yeah, I used a professional translator not long ago for French Citizenship application (you’re obliged to, unsurprisingly). I’m very much on the side of professional translators but as I said, in some situations good enough is good enough.

Wordreference is an online dictionary, so helpful for translating a specific word either if it has multiple meanings in either language or if you’re suspicious that one of the words in a translation isn’t correct
