Een baggervaartuigje ligt in de sloot tegenover ons huis. Het duwt de bagger voor zich uit zodat het met een grijper uit het water gepakt kan worden. A small dredger is moored in the ditch across from our house. It's pushing the dredged material out in front of it so it can be grabbed from the water with a grabber.

Nee, niet nog meer kerstlichtjes. De sloot wordt uitgebaggerd en ze waren er om 7 uur al mee bezig.

Het is om half tien nog schemerdonker, maar we hebben er wel een kerstboom bij in de straat.

De versiering laat ik verder aan mijn vrouw over, maar de balkonlichtjes zijn mijn afdeling. Wel eerst even testen !

Een plastic box met een opgerolde kluwen kerstlichtjes in verschillende kleuren. Het zwarte ding erbovenop is de batterijhouder. De losse (oplaadbare) batterij moest ik gewoon even kwijt. Met de groene draad ga ik ze aan de balkonreling vastmaken. A plastic box with a coiled ball of Christmas lights in different colors. The black thing on top is the battery holder. I just needed to get rid of the loose (rechargeable) battery. I'll use the green wire to attach them to the balcony railing.
