I did an ICU elective as an MS4. We had a patient that fit the criteria and the intern and I convinced the attending to give it.
The next day the Xigris rep was on the unit handing out a box full of freebies, pens, notebooks, staplers, whatever.
At that moment I was sure it was useless.
