I was septic and going into organ failure earlier this year, & I am beyond grateful for the amazing medical team that cared for me.

My late MIL had dementia. I took her joke books each visit. She read the books over and over, giggling like a school girl. The smiles & laughter were priceless & helped keep her mind on a positive track, derailing the sadness that was so overwhelming.
