I still love sewing and crafting and at the end of the day getting to experience a good day with friends in their costumes too. Just feeling extra restricted recently and drowning in my own thoughts about what's worth it and what am I actually getting out of it.

I have been 50-50 not into wearing any costumes recently, even just to take a mirror selfie. Call it a combination of outgrowing the hobby, bodies being bodies and changing no matter what, and a million other reasons including the vibe was just off that day.

I think the fact there are so few eyes on Kerry, there's just less pressure on me overall about it and just like that costumes are fun again suddenly. Existing on social media is exhausting.

It's the first time in a long time I've had a strong vibe for a character and I really want to do it proper justice.

In recent years I've finished costumes of a few personal faves and felt next to nothing after it? And it's derailed me so hard and has left me feeling lost about the hobby.

Maybe I am good at my job lol? Who would have thought, not me. That's for sure.
