I want to start posting on here more. I've recently decided I want to pivot to making zines.

I'm going to tell my stories from growing up in that cult; it'll help me really process so much.

I've been practicing my art daily.
I did a challenge! I sketched a form out of memory and then tried to see how close I got the proportions! I'm so proud of those legs!! (I drew a figure from memory, then I marked major points on the figure. The halfway line is the longest.) I began the Drawabox Draw 100 Chests challenge, these are my first 4. I know that he recommended not doing them freehand, but I don't really care. 🤷‍♀️ A few 3D arrows I sketched to practice foreshortening. It is a practice technique recommended on Drawabox! A skull I sketched and labeled to send to a friend who's a biologist! I'm happy to be friends with them, because they give such interesting perspectives on nature.

Been packing and getting ready to move to NYC on Tuesday! Haven't gotten to sit down for a proper project but I have some really neat sketches that show I haven't been slacking!!
My fursona, Moxi, drooling as her tongue hangs out. It says "Puppy Moment" under her head. Two characters embracing, kissing with their eyes closed. A foot that I drew, there is a hand at the top of the image pouring liquid on to the foot, and in to a glass below the foot. My girlfriend and side hugging, framed by our fingers making a heart shape. Her arm is broken and she is in a cast because she got hit by a garbage truck a few weeks ago, but she didn't need surgery and I'm taking care of her till she's ok!

As part of moving out of this hellhole, I just sold my old video game collection I've been dragging around my whole old life to start a new physical media collection with my gf.

HOOOO BOY I'm glad I started practicing art 6 months ago because these hormones are **out of control**and it's an outlet!

I've been sketching every day but not posting a ton. Life is really hard but will get easier very soon!

Had a moment where I realized I've been thinking way too hard about my finished product when I draw, so I just let myself doodle for the first time in a while and OH MY GOD.

The universe inspired me with this really good haiku this morning.

More than anything, it's inspired by things I'm always telling my students whenever they demonstrate learned helplessness and use brain rot as an excuse to be undisciplined.
An illustrated haiku. The poem is "Passivity kills. Turn off the addiction box. Earth burns when brains rot." I painted bloodstains, a phone, a fire, and a gradient of a brain going from pink to green as it rots.

Been doing pen sketches lately and I'm really starting to find my groove. I did a study on Arale from Dr.Slump and then drew this Arale. The other is an OC I'm milling about who is kinda a fusion of my OC Pea and Purah from BOTW. (I realized that I cheated with her hair and copied Isabelle from AC🤭)
