In this case, Joe using underhanded methods to secure the title, the Hook double cross, the swerve return. I guess angles is probably the wrong description and storytelling may be more accurate.

Yeah I’m really conflicted, because by all accounts both Mark and Jay changed their world view significantly after the initial comments and their trilogy with FTR was remarkable.
I get why that wasn’t/isn’t enough for some people and I remember being gutted when I read what Jay said.

But it also means that Hangman, Swerve, MJF, a Jay White on the return path, Kyle Fletcher and MAYBE Will Ospreay will all be in the chase together though right?
To be honest, I wasn’t at all shocked that Joe won this one. As soon as the Cage was announced I thought it was the more likely outcome.
