I hated the first one so much mostly because I couldn’t stand Chris pratt’s character or the way the movie treated him (like he was Indiana Jones or something. He was not.) There was no way I could watch another movie with that character

Chocolate chip pecan pie is still sweet but the bittersweet chocolate cuts it a bit. I also add flakey salt to the top. It’s my favorite pie.

A lady at the gym this morning told me her friend’s cat got eaten by one this morning. I’ve seen one or two around and it’s always a trip. I would be scared to encounter out walking, but seeing them from my car always feels kind of special.

There is so much potential for storytelling in that universe but everything is either 1. Rebellion 2. Jedi 3. Crime
There are so many other types of stories! The rebellion is played out, the Jedi are boring, every crime story is the same one with Han Solo doppelgängers. It’s maddening

I think we need to admit to ourselves that there are more bad Star Wars movies than good and that good ones are actually pretty rare 🤷♀️

Planned obsolescence. Everything you buy is designed to break, especially phones. If you take care of it and keep it from breaking, they simply stop giving you the updates that allow you to continue using it. That’s what happened with my first PowerBook. It still operated, but wouldn’t do anything.
