Had some very delicious dips of beers at Henceforth and would like to get a cot and set up shop at this cozy place. The smoke wheat everyday Polish gridizke style was the low alcohol light smoky beer of my dreams. The ESB and pecan brown were also excellent. They are working on an NA beer.

Took a free batik class at Dua DC Coffee, an Indonesian kopi shop. You apply wax to resist the dye and then you iron the wax off after dying. Wringing out the fabric creates the marbled effect. There’s a paid class next week at GW museum.gwu.edu/workshop-int...

Silver Spring really is the new U Street when it comes to Ethiopian. This vegetarian combo from Effoi was pretty good as was the fried tilapia. The injera was less fermented than usual. Tofu tubs were also very good.
