Just found out that Sims Alley, where my Italian ancestors lived, was demolished after the war and Broadmead shopping precinct (Cabot circus etc) built on the site. I’ve basically stayed within this area all weekend 😆. Just found this fascinating! #bristol

Had a lovely afternoon with Mark Barton Hill, who was kind enough to give me an up close look at lots of the lovely things in his collection. He was also incredibly generous to allow me to try on TOM BAKER’S ACTUAL coat. I always said these were my Season 18 trainers! The coat even has some small -
