"After reading this annual report, I am more convinced than ever that you are all fucked in the fucking face according to every human metric conceivable, and I am getting the fuck out of here. Maybe Ireland. Maybe Italy. You may all suck it! Good day to everyone but Pete, who really, really sucks!"

"It was miraculous. It was almost no trick at all, he saw, to turn vice into virtue and slander into truth, impotence into abstinence, arrogance into humility, plunder into philanthropy, thievery into honor, blasphemy into wisdom, brutality into patriotism, and sadism into justice." (1/2)

I have to admit: Holy Name of Mary's web team has got it going on. Definitely am one to appreciate germane wit wrapped up in a 404.

Just saw a kickass live chat with @muellershewrote.com and @maryltrump.bsky.social on Substack. Then my screen froze at the end with this (see attached), which I thought was apropos. In my personal opinion: "They're both Number One!" And now @meidastouch.com has a show with Dr. Gill. Dig it!

Direction markers on the Ancient Roads of Pompeii. I shall call this picture "Phallus Doesn't Live Here Anymore."

AA cancelled our flight. Try again tomorrow. But they put us up in this rather lovely place near a golf course. Lemons to limoncello and such.

As seen on our last day in Rome just outside the Forum, Colisseum, and Palentine Hill. I really dig the cut of Italian feminists gib. Not that its my place to. I just found it arresting. Especially where it was painted.

Next stop Rome.

I think the August illustration on my Edward Gorey callendar captures the vibe of this tortured, self-destructive nation quite well. The "Galoshes of Remorse" are weighty buggars.

My new oven (waited 3 years), my existing mother-in-law, and me. Went without an oven for a year. Our long national nightmare is over.

When I was working as an IT Specialist for DIA there was a sign on the wall of our office that said: "FOX NEWS: Sticking Americans Heads Up Their Own Asses Since 1996." It was still there when I left in 2022. I love you and your work, but this painting sums up the entire ethos of your "network."

Unlike the song, this American Wedding involved lots of vodka, marinated herring, and dancing. Returning to West Point for the first time in three years to see my friends Dr. Jeff Watson and Gina Pelosi wed at the Thayer Hotel was awesome. www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPfe...

I spent two hours with George Clooney, and all I got was a gin and lime-scented plastic cup. I also felt a bit uplifted. Outstanding production; excellent acting and stage design. We beat these fascist bastards before, we can and must again.
