The article clearly says there's been contact by the UK and EU governments based on the actions of our government which breach these FTAs

That would be really stupid cause they'd be jeopardizing their own careers and providing a plausible excuse to him for no gain

Tell him/trying to tell him and being ignored is far more effective of they want to make him look bad, and it's a pretty safe bet he would
