But you can't stand for freedom and control women's bodies.

You can't stand for family and vote against paid family leave.

You can't stand for faith and sell out the poor to give tax cuts to the rich.

Ken Paxton’s crimes are well known. But John Cornyn may be even more corrupt.

Cornyn was the deciding vote on the “Big Ugly Bill” — kicking millions off their healthcare to give his billionaire donors a tax cut.

That is corruption of the highest order.

Jesus spent most of his time healing the sick.

Today, we have politicians in Congress with “Christ-follower” in their Twitter bios — but they’re trying to kick the sick off their healthcare.

And they’re willing to shut down the government to do it.

DC politicians like John Cornyn promised to lower costs, fight for families, and drain the swamp.

Now they’re trying to gut healthcare for millions to cut taxes for their donors — even shutting down the government to do it.

If you feel conned, you have a place in this campaign.

Democracy is not just voting in elections; it's not just institutions and laws.

Democracy is a spiritual practice.

It requires a deep love for our neighbors — especially our neighbors with whom we disagree the most.

I’m tired of being divided into teams.

Do you have an elderly grandparent who needs care? So do I.

Do you struggle to afford the high price of everything? So do I.

Do you know what it means to carry the weight of medical debt? So do I.
